Kit contains a pair of fully-floating 2-piece brake discs and one set of full-race SR-11 brake pads. EBC Racings fully-floating 2-piece brake discs combined with our full race SR11 pads represents the ultimate braking upgrade for dedicated track & race cars seeking peak levels of on-track performance.
The new EBC SR range is a low-noise, fast bedding, long-life sintered pad blend that is designed to offer the LOWEST pad-wear-cost-per-lap in race driving. The pads work on a deposit film basis which reduces disc/rotor wear to almost zero. Bed-in is almost instant with one lap normally sufficient on decent rotor surfaces.
Made in the USA at EBC Brakes' state-of-the-art facility, the SR series delivers exceptional braking performance. The SR pads provide a stronger bite and longer-lasting durability compared to other options, without causing damage to your rotors. Unlike previous sintered pads, SR represents a significant advancement in brake pad technology. The advanced transfer film technology used in SR pads nearly eliminates disc wear, ensuring that your braking system remains in top condition. Additionally, the SR pads are designed to be “hard” in terms of compressibility, which results in a better and more responsive pedal feel. One of the standout features of SR pads is their impressive wear life. Tests have demonstrated that these pads last 3 to 5 times longer than competitor semi-metallic pads, offering substantial longevity and value for your investment. The SR11™ medium friction compound is specifically engineered for the front of street cars with high ABS effect or for both front and rear applications in race cars with bias controls. The SR pads are available in a limited range of ultra-fast street vehicle systems or full race calipers from renowned brands such as AP, Brembo, Alcon, and Wilwood, with availability expected to launch in spring 2022. One of the greatest advantages of SR pads is their combination of enhanced bite, reduced fade, and the lowest cost per racing mile of any brake pad on the market. This makes them a highly cost-effective choice for both street and race applications. Another major benefit is the immediate brake response achieved with SR pads. Once fitted, these pads perform optimally from cold temperatures up to 900°C (1650°F), providing consistent braking power. Moreover, SR pads require no chemical bedding; you can fit them and race immediately without the need to burn off volatiles, a pioneering feature in race brake technology.
